#2. CNC Lathe Lens Production Program

This program can be used to directly produce plastic lenses or to create molds for producing plastic lenses. It allows you to estimate the focal length of the lens and to specify the thickness, diameter and other features of the lens.

It will produce both concave and convex lenses and the refractive index can be adjusted for any material. Acrylic and polycarbonate can be chosen from menu. Feed and speed can be adjusted for best finish. Additional polishing may be necessary depending upon tooling, material, and machine capabilities. Shareware version is limited to 20 CNC programs.
